ADHD-DVD, Episode #15: The Long Goodbye (with Travis Woloshyn)
This week on the program, bust out the Courry Brand cat food and light up a cig because we're joined by actor, podcaster and Boom Pro Wrestling personality Travis Woloshyn for a selection out of his collection: Robert Altman's The Long Goodbye (1973), starring Elliot Gould, Nina van Pallandt, Sterling Hayden, Henry Gibson and Jim Bouton, and featuring the very first acting role for a young Arnold Schwarzenegger. Based on the book by Raymond Chandler, Altman offers a uniquely comic and at the time derided take on Philip Marlowe and the noir genre that nevertheless went on to influence countless classic films in the years since.
